The KFC Social Responsibility Trust was started in 1992. It’s run as a separate Public Benefit Organisation and is registered and managed by a Board of Trustees that includes KFC’s Managing Director and two franchisees. Meeting three times a year, the Trust is responsible for overseeing and distributing money raised online, in-store and funds donated by KFC restaurant franchisees. It is independently audited by KPMG.
The Trust ensures that every cent of customer R2 is spent on food for the children of the beneficiaries which Add Hope supports. Every donation received goes towards filling tummies.
