KFC Crunch Double Down

People love to argue on just about anything. While some arguments are valid, others are just ridiculous. For example, should pineapple be on pizza? How is a tomato not a vegetable? And the age-old classic of, “what came first, the chicken or the egg?”

The new question that’s on everyone’s lips relates to KFC’s new Crunch Double Down. With a crispy, golden hash brown, two slices of cheese, and some tangy sauce, all neatly tucked between two steaming Crunch Fillets, you’ll be asking yourself, “is it a burger or not?” This crunchy conundrum has South Africans second guessing themselves in terms of what “makes” a burger, a burger.

So let’s get to the bottom of all this #BurgerOrNot business. What actually makes a burger? Is it the buns? The meat? Both? Or does the Crunch Double Down ingredients bring a new take on the expected?

According to conflicting sources, the burger could have been founded from any time between the 1880’s to the 1890’s, by a number of alleged inventors, from the United States to Germany. Which means we’ll probably never truly know the mastermind behind the meaty miracle.

KFC might not have all the answers, but they’re 100% sure of one thing: #BurgerOrNot, the Crunch Double Down is Finger Lickin’ Good.

If you haven’t yet, why not sink your teeth into the delectably delicious new “burger” now, and decide for yourself as to whether you’re “Team Burger” or “Team Not A Burger.”

KFC. It’s Finger Lickin’ Good.
